Loehr: in the L8 TRABA collection, W1 STACK

The Berlin-based design brand founded by the three Loehr brothers presented two new products that join a collection characterised by references to architectural categories and construction methods. The L8 TRABA table is designed for extreme lengths. The solid wood dining table top is reinforced by a thick support beam, which provides great structural rigidity. The leg sections at the ends are mounted flush with the table surface, thus accentuating its sculptural appearance.

The W1 STACK shelving system designed by Dirk Winkel is highly functional with an inherent architectural quality. The horizontal and side sheet metal panels can be assembled to form a rigid grid structure that offers stability and strength. The modular dimensions are defined by standardised everyday objects and the requirements of office environments. The elements are screwed together at mounting points invisible from the outside, giving the shelf an industrial, minimalist aesthetic.

Loehr

Loehr is a Berlin-based design brand founded by the three brothers David, Leon and Julian Loehr. The brand’s design ethos is driven by a holistic and sustainable perspective on architecture and space, questioning typologies and patterns of user behaviour towards design. Based on this belief, furniture and objects are created in a constructive interplay of loads, planes and materials. The result is a collection inspired by architectural categories and construction methods. The designs for the collection are developed through in-house expertise or productive dialogue. Loehr sees itself as an ever-expanding platform for integrating the work of independent authors and realising collaborative projects. loehr.co
