The new TURING collection of smart home devices from COLMO.
From 18 to 23 April, COLMO, a Chinese company of premium AI-equipped home appliances, is participating in Fuorisalone 2023 for the first time with the installation ‘COLMO: EXPLORE THE NATURE’ at Opificio 31, within the Tortona Design District circuit. Presented in 2018 on Mont Blanc, the highest peak in Europe, COLMO – from the Chinese ‘climb’ – specialises in the production of devices capable of bringing the future into the home. With their innovative technology, excellent quality and cutting-edge design, COLMO products give people the chance to live a “Simply Extraordinary” life, as the company slogan states, following the concept of “technology in the service of man“.
With the exhibition ‘COLMO: EXPLORE THE NATURE’, the company intends to present the TURING collection to the international public at the Milan Design Week. This new series – comprising a cooker hood, gas cooker, dishwasher, gas water heater, water softener, water purifier, table-top water dispenser, kitchen water purifier, electric water heater – is based on the concept of‘less is more‘, focusing not only on functionality and technical aspects, but also on design, to create high quality smart devices. In addition, AI systems are integrated into the COLMO devices in order to offer consumers a complete and intelligent experience. At the same time, the products are characterised by simple, elegant lines and a unique‘rational aesthetic‘, achieved through a perfect balance of efficiency and sophistication.
The space, designed in collaboration with designer Tang Zhong Han, is inspired by the ” Living with Nature” theme and the “Natural high-end” concept that characterises the TURING collection.
