Boffi|DePadova Köln, a new location

Boffi|DePadova Köln moves to a new location on Kaiser-Wilhelm-Ring, leaving behind its  original showroom in Spichernstraße, first opened in 2004.

The latest collections from Boffi, ADL and De Padova as well as iconic pieces from the group’s interior offering are on display in a 280-sqm space set over multiple floors that has been designed by the group’s creative team. The new showroom overlooks a pedestrian promenade where one finds shops from the world’s leading design brands and features walls in neutral and light colours, a departure from the signature anthracite grey tones seen in Boffi stores.

The sprawling ground floor area is home to the K14 and Xila kitchens as well as the full-height Wigmore Shelving System bookcase. These innovative systems sit alongside the Ami chairs by Yabu Pushelberg and the Villetta by designer Keiji Takeuchi. The first living room area one comes into contact with features the Deco sliding wall by ADL. Offerings from De Padova collaborations are on hand, including the EVERYDAY LIFE collection by Paul Smith. These pieces are mixed together with elements from the Time & Style ēdition, showing in the background the synergy with the Boffi designs. The basement area focuses on Boffi materials and functional aesthetics, ranging from the Shades ribbed door from the Free Zone bathroom system to the functionality of the Antibes wardrobe and partitions from ADL. Highlights on the mezzanine include the Elementi lamp by Elisa Ossino as well as her Honoré series consisting of a sofa and coffee tables that captures the refined elegance of De Padova.

Boffi|DePadova CEO Roberto Gavazzi describes the move from Spichernstraße to Kaiser-Wilhelm Ring as a strategic choice. “We have set up in the heart of Cologne, on the commercially vibrant promenade where the established Made in Italy design brands are present, with our 360-degree offering. Since 2004, Cologne has been a leading market for us in terms of turnover. In 2022, we experienced a significant growth of 22% compared to the previous year.”

Starting June 5, 2023, the Boffi|DePadova Köln showroom and its wide-ranging collection will be open to the public.
