TERRATINTA GROUP. Majolica Mar. The origin of this new decorative project is encapsulated in the name itself: MAR, meaning antique recovered majolica. A tribute to the majolica floor tiles of the Mediterranean tradition, a sort of “memory of the past” to be integrated into contemporary space. With MAR, tradition is reinterpreted starting from its most famous form, majolica. We wanted to recreate a real experience rooted in the territory in which this type of decoration originated, reproducing the aristocratic charm of these historic materials, recovering a product full of memories and at the same time freeing it from the passage of time. MAR draws on the craftsmanship of tradition to redefine contemporary interior design. In the classic 20×20 cm size with a thickness of 10 mm, the majolica tiles are available in eight different decorative motifs. Perfect for floor and wall coverings.
